Searches may be in upper or lower case and do not use any punctuation (commas, quotes, periods, etc).
Search by Parcel ID
Example: 374013030654
Catawba County Parcel ID's are normally 12 digits. When a building owner is diffrent than the parcel owner, the building Parcel ID has a four character extension.
Search by Owners Name
Examples: Lee or smith john or smith j
Enter a last name then a first name, or enter the first portion of a Owner's last name.
Use a minimum of 3 characters.
Search by any portion of an Owners Name
Examples: LLC or church or Lee
Use any portion of a name. If you are are entering a last name and first name use the format Last First
Use a minimum of 3 characters.
Search by a Parcel Address
You can enter a Number or Name or both to find an address.
As you type in a street name suggestions will appear below the input box. To select a suggested street use the Up Down arrows and the Enter key
or, click or double click on a suggested street. After entering one or both pieces of information click the Find button.
All of the streets in the county that have a addressed parcel will show up in the sugesstion box. If a Street Name is not suggested the address will not match a Catawba County address.
If the street you are looking for does not show up in the suggestion box extend your search to a surrounding county. Links to surrounding county GIS web sites are on the

Examples: 9422 or 1260
This is a unique number used to identify parcels and is most often used by mortage companies.
Search by a Subdivision
Enter a Subdivision Name or the first portion of a Subdivision name.
Example: Rock Barn, Oak
Search by Plat Book and Page
Example: 19 40 Both fields are required.
